We recently renovated our downstairs bathroom and I'm trying to keep it tropical. My wife bought this rug to cover our current hardwood floor. The pattern is very pretty and the pile is soft. It is particularly comfortable to walk on and not on a cold floor. We actually had to wash it shortly after we put it down as one of our dogs thought it was a good place to urinate (she goes to the bathroom, I just wish she could learn how to use the toilet ha-ha ). I say all of this because after washing it kept its pattern and didn't fall apart. Of course we chose to air dry it since it has a rubber backing. Basically, we were able to use this "randomness" to give us a good idea of how well this product is holding up. He passed with honor.
