First impressions were good. I measured them with calipers and compared them to the Weller product and they were within 0.005 inches (the Weller products were 0.003 inches apart). Then tin, and all picked up the solder easily and evenly, without any voids. (Remember to tin each tip at the lowest possible temperature to prevent the tip material from oxidizing before the solder flows onto it.) The temperature control seemed good too (I think the temperature sensor depends on the magnetic properties of the changing tip off). with tip temp.) It's generally nice to have such a large selection of tips as I work with everything from surface mount chips with leads on .025" centers to 1930's tube radios with hand wire. As for durability. Time will tell but they come from a country where A LOT of hand soldering is done so the need for quality soldering tips is very high. Hopefully they are part of this offer.
