Review on Nature's Miracle Self-Cleaning Litter Box for Multiple Cats by Elizabeth Rue

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Broke within a month.

For those of you who don't know, Littermaid and Nature's Miracle have the same parent company. I bought my first Littermaid electric cat litter 17 years ago when I adopted my cat from a shelter. He used it straight away and it has cleaned brilliantly for 5 years with very few faults. It was noisy but it worked and cleaned and made the cat litter process great. If it crashed or overflowed, our cat would let us know. At the age of 17 we bought 4 Littermaid electric trays and watched the product switch. Some of the changes were good and some just reduced costs, but the boxes each lasted an average of 4 years. It has satisfied me. Over time, Littermaid products have become increasingly difficult to find. I started seeing Nature's Miracle jars that were a perfect match for Littermaid. They were black and a little sturdier than Littermaid's. Then they went to Issue 2 and it was almost impossible to find the container we needed for Littermaid. We've gotten past Littermaid's 3rd year and it's started to slow down and dip, so it's time to replace it. I knew I had to buy a Nature's Miracle electric waste bin. When the box arrived it looked good. i like black The glass that came with it was flimsy and broke when I tried to take it out of the box. But the box was silent as it raked out the garbage. I really enjoyed that. But within a month the device that picks up the trash got stuck and I had to dig around to get it out. then it got stuck again on the next scoop. At this point I decided to return it. It's terrible that they took a good product and made it cheap and bad. I would happily pay more for a higher quality version of Littermaid rather than buying a cheaper horrid version. You ruined a good product. The company needs to improve or discontinue the product.
