I attached these to my Northern Tool 3/4" fork clamps and they fit very well. but they fit great. I've had them installed on my daily commuter for a few weeks now and they're still there. They don't appear to be weakened or anything. Since installing them I've also ridden cross country, taken up and down rocks, river crossings, mud, nothing has caused them to fall off. As for the rumble, people keep asking me if they reduce the rumble. I waited to install the fork struts until I had them, so I've never ridden with a rattling strut. However, I didn't hear the shackles at all, so they clearly stopped any rumble that might have occurred had they not been there. All in all, grab a few of these, they seem worth it.
