I'm 6ft 2" and love the fact that this tripod is very tall. Use it during a church service and it elevates the camera view over everyone's heads so the scene can be seen clearly without obstruction. My only criticism of the 2 I've bought is that the head needs to be removed and reset. The first that I bought I sent it back as defective and they sent me a replacement. But it was the same. So I took the head apart and put it back together and it works great. My 3rd was the same. Something about the way the P/T heads are assembled. head units when bolted down.
