Review on Noctua NF A14 ULN 3 Pin Premium by Tom Podolski

I really liked this fan and bought two to replace a couple of failed system fans in my PC case. Without a noise filter in place (essentially they added a resistor to drop the DC voltage), the fans ran too fast and we were noticeably noisy. Just understand that while 3-pin fans can be connected to the 4-pin headers of the mobo, they can't be controlled via PVM, only DC. For me I needed quiet system fans as I don't play games and my rig doesn't usually get hot so the low voltage adapter cables were easy to plug in and get the fan speed to a reasonable level and run with it a lot quieter. than usual.
