Review on πŸ’» Enhance Efficiency with StarTech.com Under Desk CPU Mount - Adjustable, Heavy-Duty Computer Tower Mounting Bracket by Eugene Cox

Functional but could be better

I have a 40 lb computer case. Just installed today. The installation went quickly and easily. The spindle screw was slightly loose and free to spin when it arrived. I used a hex key and an adjustable wrench and tightened the nut and lock nut to limit the rotation. It didn't matter much since I already had the tools on hand. I was incredibly skeptical when I bought it, but Startech has served me well over the years, so I decided to give it a try. The six screws it came with sank into my oak table so well it felt like I could put twice as much weight on it. It's a little overpriced for the materials it's made of, but I don't like bending tubes so it's fair I guess. I would have liked some more powerful whistle equipment (especially for the price). It leaves a lot to be desired, but it serves its purpose. Key settings have weight, but I don't fully trust them. Looks like I'll pick up some 10mm screws on my next visit to the hardware store and drill out the knobs one day.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE FRAME FITS MOST CPU TOWERS: The under desk CPU holder has an adjustable frame that accommodates a variety of PC cases from 4.84" to 9.96" wide and a height of 14 inches to 21.9 inches supported.
Cons
  • boring packaging
