We do so much remodeling for the different family homes on our land, out in the country. Always improvements that can be made. One problem with some of the older homes, was locating the electrical wires in the walls. Years back, I did invest in a gadget that will locate hot wires without the need for contact. But then you really don't know EXACTLY where they're running. Having a borescope like this means being able to remove a light switch panel, and then actually see what's in the walls with great accuracy.I will say that it doesn't feel as "heavy duty" or durable as some borescopes that I've handled before. But I'm not nitpicky about stuff like that. Long as I don't drop it, we're good. There are definitely cheaper borescopes out there. But this one is at least worth giving a shot. If you don't like it, just make sure you send it back within the first two weeks, to get a refund. So at least that way, you're not risking a dime if you decide it's not for you.
