I have an LG 32" QHD (2160 x 1440p) gaming monitor that supports 144Hz. However, my Dell laptop (XPS 9560) only has an HDMI port which doesn't support full refresh rates. Luckily it has a USB-C connector and this adapter works GREAT A rate monitor like mine. Looks fantastic. One minor thing to note after I plugged it into Windows 10 he recognized it immediately and my monitor ran at full resolution but didn't offer anything above 60hz until I restarted the laptop then it showed 144hz in the display menu Select 144hz so it's great for a quick turn off is working.
