My bird loves it. In fact, I find chunks of it in his water bowl every day because he's like a donut cop β he loves to dip them. I don't know why, but if it makes him happy and keeps him calm, who cares? The only thing is that he doesn't eat yellow and green ones. He carefully selects orange, red and purple, leaving green and yellow on his plate. Ironically, these are flavors I would ignore in the packaging of, say, Lifesavers, so maybe we just have similar tastes. Or he just hates the colors green and yellow, which would be weird since he's mostly green and yellow himself. I don't know if they have a different flavor but if they sold a version without those colors I would save money on wasted groceries. But hey, at least he's eating some, which is more than I can say about some of the other birdseeds I've tried. I'm not sure when they're supposed to get out of the picky eating phase, but it hasn't happened yet. And he's about 17, so I'm guessing the phase is constant.
