Review on Prevue Pet Products Laddered Platform by Briana Fisher

I have used this style of angled bass for many years with several parrots and two cockatiels. The body I currently have aggressively chews on the dowels and I have to change the perch every few months. I hate getting rid of him as this is his favorite spot in his very large cage, although there are other perches and resting spots. I started to worry about how soft the wood was in this perch. I don't know if the breeder changed the wood or if the propensity I have now is more aggressive than my other birds. I read other reviews about injured birds. Something to think about. I'm wondering if I can find a carpenter to make this perch out of a different, harder wood.
