If you are going to choose the X10 for your home then this is the one for you. Works great, very reliable. One of the main functions is the remapping of each X10 signal to another signal, which is very useful when using multiple switches and remote controls or when one X10 switch controls multiple elements with different codes. You can also easily program complex if-then scenarios and even use variables to manage states. (For example, if I send the code O9, check the box so the ambient lights don't turn off automatically at midnight, but uncheck the box at midnight so the lights turn off automatically the next day. Useful, for example, to set the auto setting, if you are hosting a party) X! 0 dies and zwave and zigbee are much more reliable so I would only recommend this to those who have already invested heavily in X10 automation.
