I liked my first version which I got from Costco last year but after a Sunday storm here where there was a lot of ice and frozen snow it broke on me. Replacement because the curved length makes it so convenient to climb on cars and SUVs that I had to give up my Sno Brum to be able to push and pull snow, maybe that's why the brush part broke from the stress? But how the ice scraper broke, I have no idea why. I mixed up an ice scraper with a new one, the ice scraper is thicker plastic, the support legs are down and one mold is plastic instead of the 2 from my first one. So it looks like the design has been improved. The length of metal tube has just a small length of foam to hold your hand and a molded handle at the end of the brush. Other reviews about it moving when it gets wet otherwise remind me that the full length foam does the same and ripples as you use it when it gets wet. A broom is just a broom with no foam in the middle. That was my selling point at Costco when I saw this. This new one, using a softer bristled broom, has me wondering how well it gets snow off the roof on my 2016.5 CX5. That will be a full 5 starts as I thought of the first one. until it's broken. Let's see if it does something similar.
