Review on ๐Ÿงน Sanitaire SC430A Deluxe Carpet & Floor Sweeper, 11.5-inch Wide by Samuel Naidu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best manual sweeper ever used.

I used to work for a national airline, where at various times I had to refresh the carpet in the cabin (passengers on site). Our equipment was a Bissell sweeper, which I thought was "the best after sliced bread" at the time. I have had a Sanitaire sweeper for a little over two years now and should reconsider my previous Bissell review; Sanitaire easily defeats Bissell. First because it can be adjusted to different surface levels with an adjustment dial on top of the brush assembly. Secondly, the side round bristles are good for destroying dirt along baseboards. Third, emptying the trash can is the easiest manual sweeper I've used in the last fifty years. Simply detach it from the brush unit, lift it up, take it to the bin and dump it out. Other devices leave dirt that clogs the bristles. One of the reviews I read complained about the sanitaire not picking up the pieces of wood. Recently the lock on my apartment door broke and the ongoing repairs left splinters of wood on the carpet under the door. The plumbing had no problem cleaning up the mess. I simply adjusted the carpet to the correct height (the carpet in this part of my apartment is very thick) and the problem was solved. successful. I often use this sweeper in place of a vacuum due to its light weight and the fact that I don't have to deal with a hose or a heavy vacuum. I am completely addicted to this carpet brush and have used several different brands in my life. I'm glad to see it's still available and hope I never lose mine.
