Good concept but needs improvement.

Love the idea of this sweeper BUT when it arrived one of the rotating side brushes jumped out of place. I put it back in but it kept popping up. I also noticed that because this sweeper is square, it's impossible to get into corners. Other comparable sweepers on the market have a more rounded tail, which allows for easier turning. This one appears to need a redesign, I have returned this item.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires electrical outlet

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Some little things

I've had several manual sweepers of this type (can't remember the brand) over the years and each has its own quirks that I had to work with. This particular one works well on uneven tile floors and low-pile carpets (1/4 inch or less). Despite adjusting the carpet pile (to accommodate the height of the carpet), this broom doesn't seem able to handle anything over 1/4 inch due to the design of the handle not being properly engineered for the device. The portion of the handle that attaches to the…
