Review on Fluke 59 MAX+ Infrared Thermometer, Yellow, 59 🌡️ MAX Plus, 10:1 Distance to Spot Ratio, FLUKE-59 MAX+ NA by Robert Aiono

I bought this to check the temperature of everything from boilers, radiators, air conditioner vents, compressors to cooking/dining/refrigerating to spotting heat leakage around windows and doors , and it worked great on every surface I could find. They even measured the dog and the child. The only drawback is that the emissivity table is not built into the device as specified in the instructions. You can adjust it to suit the material you're measuring, but there aren't any built-in presets. So if you really need ultra-precise measurements, I think you need to keep the table on the man page handy. I called support and they confirmed that this appears to be a documentation error. However, I did notice that the error level was relatively low despite using the default settings (0.95 I think).
