This is a great training aid. I have trained several agility dogs over the years but have never had as much success as I have with this pole exerciser. This is a modified version of clicker training, only better. My inexperienced dog learned very quickly that a loud beep would be followed by a treat, and then when I did what I wanted, make a beep that called out the treat (or all the food given in small portions, or whatever quantity I had adjusted). ) . After spending several months building the base for the weave, I was able to place the Manner Watcher at the exit of the rod weave. The bitch immediately learned if she had woven correctly - DELICIOUS! I can send her to weave which now makes her impeccable no matter where I am - NO more searching for weaving! And for what it's worth, I do NOT have ANY breed that qualifies as "Agility" (e.g. Border Collie, Sheltie, Aussie). I used to have a target board with a treat at the end of weaving. But if the dog got the braiding wrong, he could usually pass me on the saucer and snatch the treat before I could get there. This is the best training tool I have used in almost 25 years of dog training.
