Amazing pen! But it only works on some uncoated steels (NOT copper)
This pen is great! It only works on some metals, but when it works, it's amazing. In particular, I believe it works with metal that oxidizes more easily? If the metal is coated with something, it won't work either. However, sanding the surface and exposing the raw metal beneath the plating will often work.
