My saw uses shock isolation instead of grounding. That was ALWAYS my preference. What I mean is that you cannot touch any metal on the saw while working AND the saw itself is NOT grounded. I solved the problem by cutting the ground wire at the end of the SAW. I left a ground lug to keep the cable connected. I also had to cut off the neutral (white) and hot wire (black) connectors. Stripped and fastened the wires since my saw uses screws (not ("push")) for fastening. Let's be honest. Unless you're mechanically savvy, you probably won't be using these expensive saws! This cable worked great for me as it included a strain relief.
