Review on 🔌 MikroTik RB2011iLS-IN RouterBoard with 10 Ethernet Ports by Billy Mariner

I have been installing networking equipment for many years and found this unit interesting. Yes, the operating system on this thing is huge and offers more options than you might want. Although this device says it's "ready to use" right out of the meager manual that comes with it, it doesn't connect to the internet. I tested all my lines (Cat6 throughout the house) and replaced them twice with my old TP-Link 10/100 router which worked every time but this one didn't. Windows couldn't get an IP address from this MikroTik router even after seven resets and reboots. TP-Link was no problem! So I'll go back and look for another gigabit router.
