No instructions. Sticks out too far. The big problem, however, is that the bolt that attaches the plate to the tow bolt cannot be tightened enough. I'll try adding a lock washer if it lasts that long, but it comes loose no matter how hard you tighten it. I think it will loosen and fall off while driving. Might end up putting a panel on the dash or drilling holes in the front fender because all the cheaper kits I've seen have the same bad reviews and the good ones cost quite a bit of money.
