Review on NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-band WiFi Router: Fast Speeds, Alexa Compatible by Thong Pilla

My security camera installer recommended this router to power my smart home as my charter router wasn't strong enough to even maintain the signal. He said he's had the previous design of it for three years and loves the performance. I've read reviews on Revain and the Netgear support site and they all complained about router performance, mostly internet outages requiring a reboot to start streaming again. I took a chance and ordered it. Within 24 hours of connecting we left the house to receive a call from the security company that our touchpad had been tampered with which put them on high alert. He actually lost his internet connection. In the evening of the same day they call us again with the same problem. 48 hours after installation, Arlo temporary cameras are working fine with their own router connected to the modem. The Nighthawk router is fully functional but is not broadcasting an internet signal. The Wi-Fi network still works because the Bose speakers still communicate through the router. 45 minutes with tech support telling me they have never heard of this problem but need to change some settings tell me to try now and see. 24 hours later the same problem. This time I'm working with tech support for over an hour to do a master factory reset (which I had to change due to the previous tech) and reboot the latest update which rebooted twice in 3 days . If it doesn't work, call us and we'll send you a replacement free of charge!” Remember, they know the router is less than 5 days old. I have informed tech support that this is not a problem. If it happens again I will return to Revain and choose a different brand. Less than 24 hours later while writing this review I'm packing it up as it has stopped streaming internet again and this time I can't even access it with a cable to reset it. I would like to hear reviews.
