Review on πŸ”§ GOEHNERS Upholstery Staple Gun Adjustability by Robert Yates

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great stapler at a great price.

I seem to have bought a few tools lately as bad construction work keeps me finding things to fix around the house. Thing is, I cleaned the tub and most of the trim around the tub fell off. The builder thought that the 1/16" staples along with the paint were obviously good enough to hold it in place (insert eye roll here). So let's not get distracted. I needed to fix this and figured a stapler with the right staples would do the job. I started shopping at Revain and came across this construction stapler available through the Vine program. The previous reviews looked promising so I placed my order. The Goehner stapler comes in a plain box (not handy to keep later so I threw it away). You will receive a stapler, instructions, and three boxes of staples (U, D, and T staples, 1,000 of each type). The description says you get a staple remover, but it's part of the stapler (so don't look for or expect a separate tool). The instructions don't really say much about using the stapler itself, although they do provide instructions on how to handle jams, examples of how to load staples, and various warnings about what not to do. Suspenders would be perfect for my job of replacing the tub panel. The fairing is made from a plastic molding about 1/4" thick. Following the instructions, I downloaded the staples and got to work. I reset the trim and attached the first brace. It was perfect! I had to snap the button on didn't adjust the staple gun as it fired the staples almost flush with the molding. From there I used a chisel to set the nails and I was done. Everything is ready for resealing and painting. I am very happy with this stapler - at least for my first use.didn't have to hold on to the t-clamps and everything worked as it should.it did the job i was given it to do well.can't comment on durability at this time but. for the price it seems well made I'm glad I ordered it.
