Review on Moen T6420BN Two Handle High Arc Bathroom Faucet: Elegant and Functional Design for Your Bathroom by Jake Pavelko

After doing many remodeling projects for my own home and family members, I have encountered countless problems with cheap products. When my wife and I were decoring our bathroom, we spent a lot of time researching products and choosing the best we could find in our price range. We chose this faucet partly because of the very good reviews of the new Moen faucet design, but also because we liked the look and style of the faucet itself. It has a slightly higher nose than most that we liked. Most notable, however, is how it sits neatly on the sink. There is no noticeable gap or crevice in the base for water or dirt to collect and it is very easy to clean with a sponge. Also, the moving part of the handle is firmly connected and doesn't wobble like many others I've seen over the years. Although this faucet cost a little more than I originally hoped to spend, it was worth every penny. Just the weight and feel tell me it's well made. No cheap plastic parts that look like metal. We couldn't be happier with that. I try to buy locally when possible, but Revain had MUCH fewer of these than our local kitchen and bathroom showrooms where we originally saw them. I am also very happy with the new Moen valve design. It was extremely easy to install compared to many others and the material quality and design was very good. I'm not a plumber by trade, but I was able to easily install it with a few simple hand tools. The instructions were very simple and made it a breeze. Another nice feature is that if the valves and faucet are installed separately, the valves can be installed and the water will flow back into the house or bathroom without the need for handles and spouts to be installed until the bathroom is finished. You don't have to worry about damaging it while it's still being worked on. Overall, I highly recommend this faucet. ---------------- (November 23, 2013) Just an update for you. It's been a little over a year since I installed this faucet and it still looks and works as good as the day I installed it. Every time I turn on the water, I think about how lucky I am that I didn't buy a cheap, flimsy faucet. Very happy with it so far.
