Received this as a backpack/camping sharpening solution and whilst it works it is too small to be practical. In my opinion the rods need to be longer to be effective and trying to use them as a notched tip doesn't work. Also, thin bars need to be rotated after a few strokes as they collect material. And they need to be washed frequently. I wasn't expecting much and I knew what I was getting, but it didn't work out the way I hoped or wanted. However, the product was not misrepresented, so the fault is mine. This makes me concerned about the two star rating, but I don't want to imply that I'm glad I got this item.
