Have used this product for many years. ideal for mending and finishing a knife blade or blade. The only negative is that I wish you could rotate the ceramic stones to extend the life of the sharpener.

They make my already sharp knives extremely sharp. I'm not sure if they sharpen something dull, but I don't dull my knives.

Nice little preset angle (22.5°) with removable sticks. I like that the ceramic is removable - I can clean and rotate it. that the device fits in my pocket and small gear bags. I can always have a decent sharpener with me.

Works well. To sharpen hoof knives and loop knives, I remove one of the shaping sticks while holding it in my hand. The plastic tabs that hold the stock in place will break if removed and replaced multiple times. But the knives sharpen well.

I use Lansky Crock Sticks to sharpen my knives and then keep them razor sharp with these little sharpeners. They do their job well and can be taken out for cleaning. This is a great tool for sharpening small blades like arrowheads or pocket knives, but can also be used to mend longer blades if the blade was originally sharp.

Received this as a backpack/camping sharpening solution and whilst it works it is too small to be practical. In my opinion the rods need to be longer to be effective and trying to use them as a notched tip doesn't work. Also, thin bars need to be rotated after a few strokes as they collect material.
