I used it and didn't want to write a review until I did. I plugged it in and didn't wait long for it to heat up. I started scratching the driver's window because when my car starts, I roll down the glass so I don't get locked out of the car. The scraping took a while but I really like the scraper so I used it while it was getting hot. The cord is long enough for me to reach every part of my car windows. The ice was thick but I always make sure I have enough time to clear it. The only thing I would advise is to put it on a pillow or something to cool it down. I was a hairdresser and went to the heat pad department to buy a glove and pad to lay on. Both cost $11. I've always burned myself with curling irons and was aware of the risks of using them. So I would say it was a great purchase. The price is right.
