Good product much faster than the USB 2.0 external drive I have. Sometimes I needed an external drive bay to recover data for family and friends. Copying the contents of an old hard drive to a new hard drive when the old hard drive won't boot is what this is mainly used for. I would also take old drives that I removed from the old PC and extract data from them. A good product has always worked.
