Not deep enough to cover the latch OEM + black not black

Without mounting tape the cover is fine but they did not size the part for the thickness of the mounting tape so the cover does not sit flush with the door jamb . You see a large number of knocks on the door. Also, black is more of a metallic gray and also looks silverier than black.
