The idea is right, the price is right, but in practice it's better to use the few dollars this kit costs and put it in a real pocket hole to put jigs. The bits suck and are barely long enough to reach the tree (must be the wrong bits?). Even if the jig is secure, there is too much clearance in the collar and you only have to chew on the inside of the jig closest to the woodwork. There is now too much free space in the jig to do anything even remotely close to a clean starting hole. I ignored the negative reviews and took a chance, now I will say BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS on this set.
