for the money they cost I honestly expected to get something that would eventually fall apart or be poorly focused but they are actually very good! Solid construction and good image sharpness, I will use them for a long time. One more note: Pretty much everything I've gotten from Amazon lately is barely packaged and ends up scratched and bumped on my doorstep. These binoculars were packed in a special bubble wrap that fit perfectly in the box. Even stepping on it would probably be fine. very impressive.
