Updated (again): took less than 2 months. Now they're ripped, the sole's ripped off, and they're good for the trash. Very disappointed. Update: my son has been using these shoes for 3 weeks now. At school, he plays soccer with his friend on the grass soccer field during recess. It can't be that the shoes were already so damaged. I am extremely disappointed. The shoes are actually waterproof (not just waterproof) which is really nice. My son and his friends play soccer during recess and he hates playing in his wellies. He is very happy with these shoes. They are a bit big (about a size bigger than all his other size 1 shoes). We've doubled their outsole for now, which helps.
