Review on 📡 Acxico 1-Piece ADS-B 1090MHz PCB Antenna ANT by Brandon Hilton

This printed antenna will work just as well as anything you can quickly or cheaply install for your advertising hobby. I placed mine outside and up, installed it in the top end of plain white PVC pipe with a cap that it used to immediately feed an Ads-B bandpass filter, then into LNA, then 75ft LMR-240 coax into RTL. -SDR dongle on Raspberry Pi 4. My Ads-B reception range consistently exceeds 200nm/230cm (sometimes up to 300nm/345cm) with this small antenna. More specifically, it measures resonance at 1030MHz with VNA, but that puts it roughly midway between 978 and 1090MHz, so it can probably be used effectively to pick up one or both frequencies if you want. The sample photo shows Ads-B signals from over 100 aircraft I pick up on a Saturday afternoon near Austin, Texas using this antenna as described above.
