Review on Truform Men's X-Large: Exceptional Comfort and Style for a Perfect Fit by Mike Steeg

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Obese / morbidly obese only.

This is an honest, non-refundable, non-free item considering the evaluation. When I first started using compression stockings I started with this "compression strength" as it was lowest in compression. I was also 40 pounds heavier because I needed major lower back surgery and was unable to exercise or be active in any way. Now I'm back to my normal weight. I need compression stockings with a compressive strength of 30-40 mmHg. This is the weakest compression strength of this brand of compression stockings. It is primarily intended for obese and morbidly obese people who are severely overweight. Since they only wean non-overweight/obese/morbidly obese people. I still kept my old ones to wear 30-40mmHg socks when I was cold in winter. Compared to this company's Mens Dress Sock version. This sports sock variant develops holes after 6 months of normal everyday use. I have no idea why. Men's socks are much thinner in material and look like a hole will form in an instant. But NONE of my socks had holes. Almost every pair of sports socks is. All I wore were Birkenstocks and Sole flip flops with these socks. 3 stars because they don't last long. And for the cost.
