The product is not as easy to use as it might seem. I had corks that just wouldn't come out due to the increased pressure in the bottle. Others pop up so quickly that one wonders if the cork was actually sealed in the bottle. There's no way to tell. The vacuum connector worked exactly once and never again. The foil cutter is well made and works perfectly. Maybe the aerator is just a marketing ploy. I really didn't feel any difference between aerated pouring and pouring straight from the bottle. I'm not upset with the purchase and I'm not very happy to own it.
