
This review is based on 10th Generation Civic Touring (2018). no longer. The Z23 is perfect if you want to keep the OEM calipers instead of shelling out 3.5k for BREMBOS. It doesn't compare to the performance of a BREMBO alone, but for your everyday rider and the average person IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE. As long as you vibrate your pads and brakes properly, you will see a change in your stopping power compared to the OEM. Rotors/pads or flat rotors. The Civic Touring itself comes with ventilated rotors. With the Z23 kit you get slots, drills and secure vents. For those like me who are into tracks or racing, you will definitely notice a change in stopping power. However, please note that since it is a HONDA, you will need a screwdriver imported from Japan. I recommend a powerful percussion tool with bushings for flexing and range extension. The rear calipers are covered with blue Loctite. In addition, you MUST BE SURE to properly reset and adjust your EBRAKE (Torx E11 socket). If you don't, replacement units cost $400 + installation. Overall though, this is an extremely great upgrade over the original brakes and rotors for everyday use!
