Bought this to use in my son's nursery. My main goal when using it was to monitor the temperature during the night. Pro: I love how it shows you the highest and lowest temperature. Because during the night, different rooms in the house seem to change temperature differently. I felt more comfortable leaving my son alone in his room. Kon: It also happened to be the only clock in his room. I spent a lot of time in his room in the middle of the night or in the twilight, trying to get him to sleep. So I often checked the time to keep track of food/sleep etc. Since the display isn't backlit, it was very difficult to see, and I had to move it a few inches from the maximum so I could see the display.
