Well-made metal element
The edge is straight and flat, and feels firm. It's not aluminum, but still metal. Painted silver outside, looks nice. I added thread lock to the internal screws on the baffle as others have done for added security. I believe it stays flat and doesn't warp like the original OEM fiber reinforced plastic cap that allowed endless oil leaks. I recommend this product.
