As a substitute, I went with Zalman; I bought two of them because they were as loud as an airport runway. Even at its absolute climax, Arctic 2's parts are completely inaudible to the listener. Because of how quiet they are, I would highly recommend getting one of these coolers if you have young children in the house or if you frequently use your computer late at night. At a distance of two meters from the computer, the bed can no longer be heard at all. They operate smoothly and quietly, but they blow so effectively that it even freezes the legs that are close to the system unit. This is not a less important feature.
