Review on 🔧 K&N Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Washable Replacement Filter for 2012-2019 Honda/Acura/Kia/Hyundai (Civic Si, ILX, NSX, K4, Mistra) by Phillip Hoover

I had the idea of buying it for several of my cars. Now I have a 2015 Civic Si Sedan and I ended up buying it for this, I forgot I didn't change the air filter. I did it in the showroom and swore I changed the engine paper but I didn't and upon inspection it was gross hahaha. I was wondering why my fuel economy was crap and the car was hesitant to accelerate. You can immediately see a HUGE difference in size between the standard filter and this K&N filter. K&N is much thinner. About half the size of the normal filter. There's oil on it too, leave it on, it should be there. Comes with a K&N decal for your car and another decal to fit your airbox so whoever is servicing your car doesn't throw away the filter. It took me 2 minutes to paste it. I didn't notice any change in fuel economy, noise or throttle response until after a few hundred miles. My Si is 5-8 mpg, a bit more oomph and a definite obvious difference in sound. About 15-20% of the full sound of cai. Trust me, it's a noticeable noise. I'm definitely happy with it. I ended up buying a filter cleaning kit on eBay for only $4. I highly recommend this plug-in filter. The biggest difference is fuel economy, then sound and throttle response. Don't expect a CAI difference from this as you may not get it if you don't have a duel receiving system.
