Great item for keeping your belongings safe. I saw reviews of dirt and grime building up in the lock and the lock failed. But that's not the castle's fault, it's the owner's bad service. I have been a locksmith for over 20 years, all locks need occasional lubrication and maintenance, they are not designed to run endlessly in this messy environment. A little WD40 is enough. This is called preventative maintenance. Most people treat things as if they were bought and forgotten. That can't be the case with anything mechanical. You have to do your part and wait for everything mechanical, not wait for something to break.
