My 40 gallon aquarium for my bearded dragon used to only have a UV lamp that I held over his back and two additional heat lamps to keep his tank warm. I'm so glad I found this canopy because it's perfect for the aquarium and I was able to install a UV lamp on each side of the canopy to cover the entire tank and two low wattage heat lamps to keep the temperature up (because it gets warm in the south where we live, and the AC has cooled his tank to keep it warm). I still have a garland hanging over his favorite spot to give him a nice warm home! He's a happy bearded man!
