These socks are great! In the summer I'm mostly barefoot, if necessary also in sandals. In the winter, I probably wear sandals unless I'm going skiing, snowshoeing, or doing something else that requires special footwear. I used to wear thick insulating socks and my feet often got wet. If I was going anywhere, I would take a pair of muddy boots "just in case". These socks are perfect for me. They keep my feet dry even when there is snow between my toes and sandals. They are also very comfortable and I have bought several styles and thicknesses. They also throw dirt/sand/etc. very good and the antimicrobial treatment works great. NB (!): They are waterproof and windproof. So if you're wearing them in conditions where your feet sweat a lot, it's something to consider.
