When you switch to this product from a Scott product, the first thing you will notice is that it is fibrous, more abrasive, less absorbent and similar to lab towels. For home users, they are most similar to alcohol wipe pads or lens tissues. This does not mean that this product leaves fewer fibers. A certain amount of liquid is required for proper operation. When saturated with liquid, it cleans well and leaves no fibers. This can be a difficult balance as it is less absorbent and can leave a significant amount of residue. I mainly use it to clean glue and resins and it's significantly inferior to Scott's product. It picks up more sheets and leaves the surface sticky even if the towel and surface are soaked in solvent.
