This product may not work as quickly as other medications, but I am very happy with my experience! I noticed a few spots on my new neon tetra and ordered one straight away. When IchAttack arrived a few days later, I was very concerned. The ichthyophthyriasis infection was progressing rapidly and I figured I was probably going to lose a few fish. Here's what I did: I slowly increased the temperature in the tank until it reached 86 degrees. I removed the carbon from my filter. Every morning I added 20ml of IchAttack to my 20 gallon tank. My results: The product turns the water slightly brown, but the color fades every day at noon. Nothing was stained brown, and the water didn't seem to darken for long. It lasted 11 days but the itching problem got better and better until it was resolved. I haven't lost a single fish. I will be using the product for a few more days to ensure all stages of their life cycle are dead. All my snails, live plants and shrimp are completely unaffected. My fish was not exposed to any secondary bacterial or fungal infection. infections. I have plenty of product left if (oh please no!) they ever come back because I put something in the tank. I know there are some foods that don't take 11 days to get the hang of) but I was glad my snails, aquarium circuit, plants and fish were doing fine with the elevated temperature and medication.
