Only use if you have no choice

In my 75 gallon tank the burst started very early when I noticed a spot on a new rainbow in the set tank. Have plants and a ghost knife so can't use salt or formalin/malachite green/copper. Started treatment straight away and yet this became a major breakthrough after 5 days (dosing 2x daily from start based on other reviews). I caught all the fish and treated them separately. I still use this in the Ghost Knives main aquarium (no choice) but quench my scaled fish in a QT tank with elevatedโ€ฆ

Definitely kills plants and stresses other plants

Used as a precaution because I thought I might get ichthyophthyriasis. I have a 50 liter aquarium. Used it as directed and was disappointed. It will brown your water a bit, which isn't a big deal, but be aware. That thing smells bad too. Although I don't think I had it, this along with the other medications I was taking (Paragaurd and Melafix) may have helped. After a week of treatment I changed 50% of the water and looked at the results. All of my fish looked great and healthy, but my plantsโ€ฆ

I blue tan for free!

So I ordered this about a year ago when my blue taste got sick. As I am new to seawater I have unfortunately lost my blue smell and half my other fish to ichthyophthyriasis. I bought a larger tank a month ago. I bought another blue scent and I had it again. Luckily I caught it early. So here are the steps I followed and saw amazing results: I went ahead and bought a quarantine tank. I set the heating to 76-80 degrees. I had two air pumps, live rocks, and artificial plants so my blue ponytailโ€ฆ

Fish rescued except for one

New brown powder (the only fish that died) from the wild was added by a local shop that claimed it was quarantined. Two days later she was riddled with ichthyophthyriasis, I don't blame the shop it was a new environmental stress or food who knows, but the new fish caused ichthyophthyriasis symptoms and infected the others. Ich Attack by Kordon saved the day It's important to know what you're struggling with and the facts about the cure. The bottle doesn't tell the whole story, go to the website

It took a while, but I'm very satisfied!

This product may not work as quickly as other medications, but I am very happy with my experience! I noticed a few spots on my new neon tetra and ordered one straight away. When IchAttack arrived a few days later, I was very concerned. The ichthyophthyriasis infection was progressing rapidly and I figured I was probably going to lose a few fish. Here's what I did: I slowly increased the temperature in the tank until it reached 86 degrees. I removed the carbon from my filter. Every morning Iโ€ฆ

It works out! Best in the Fish and Aquatic Animals category

I have never reviewed Revain but decided to write this time. I have a 150 gallon aquarium with shrimp, snails and tropical freshwater fish. I bought a couple of Axes which it turns out had never written a Revain review before but figured they had to do it this time. I have a 150 gallon aquarium with shrimp, snails and tropical freshwater fish. I bought a hatchet which turned out to be Ichthyph. Before I knew it, they infected all nine of my long-finned black-rocked tetras. I quarantined sixโ€ฆ

Not sure about this product

The bottom line is that I think this product can kill free swimming parasites but it will not work on infected fish. Infected fish need more than herbal treatment. I have a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium that is stocked with neon tetras, harlequin rasbora and lots of shrimp and snails. I made the mistake of putting the fish in my tank without first quarantining them. I won't do it again. My fish didn't have ichthyosis but they did have a different type of white parasite/fungus on their skin andโ€ฆ
