So I ordered this about a year ago when my blue taste got sick. As I am new to seawater I have unfortunately lost my blue smell and half my other fish to ichthyophthyriasis. I bought a larger tank a month ago. I bought another blue scent and I had it again. Luckily I caught it early. So here are the steps I followed and saw amazing results: I went ahead and bought a quarantine tank. I set the heating to 76-80 degrees. I had two air pumps, live rocks, and artificial plants so my blue ponytail could hide and be comfy. I then used Kent Marine's Garlic Xtreme (yes, it smells but works) to add the frozen brine shrimp. I followed the directions and took 5ml per 10 gallons twice a day. I'm five days off my two week mark and my blue smell is back to normal. she is free None of my other fish had this, so I didn't mix them. I didn't put them in my tank either because of the abundance of coral, shrimp, hermit crabs and snails. I didn't want to risk it. Please do not mix decorations that you used for quarantine back into the original tank. Store these parts separately from the original tank. Make sure you have a bare bottom in your quarantine tank. I would not recommend swimming in fresh water due to stress.
