Review on Maximal AAA4X2 8 Pieces Rechargeable Batteries by Linda Fournier

Pay attention to the mAh specification

I bought this new and charged and discharged the batteries promptly. They then put these batteries through a break-in cycle and then a full refresh/analysis cycle and only got 70% of the advertised capacity. In contrast to the advertised 1200 mAh, I was only able to get 840 mAh at 1.41 V terminal voltage. A self-discharge rate of 8.2% was measured in the first 24 hours. All tests/measurements were done with the Maha Wizard One and a DMM Fluke 115. Conclusion: While the self-discharge rate is actually normal, the capacity is no better than LSD batteries with less mAh. Stick with Eneloops or Sony CycleEnergy batteries and you'll be much better off than that brand. Update: After completely draining the LED flashlight and using the Maha MH-C9000's update/analysis mode, I expected the capacity to increase. at such a low charge rate (400mA) and discharge rate (200mA). The results were even worse! Capacity has dropped to the mid 700s as others have noted. Stay away from these batteries or you will be disappointed.
