I bought this to set up a shelf in my concrete block wall storage. I had trouble drilling these walls with another drill bit. Using this drill bit, I easily drilled the four holes needed to install the shelf. I bought a good quality piece of concrete from Dewalt which probably helped and I would recommend you do that. Haven't used it since so can't comment on durability yet. Well made, I hope it lasts a long time. In view of the low price of this drill compared to others, the purchase was worth it.
