After much research I decided on these claws. Almost every "claw" has negative reviews. Ultimately, I'm not sure there is a perfect set. This set has no hollow areas to collect food, making it difficult to clean. So that was a plus! The use of claws requires a certain development of technique and depends on the food and its preparation. Sometimes I use one claw and grab the meat with the other. These claws will NOT cut meat. They separate the meat fibers. Some negative feedback I am convinced that the meat was undercooked which would have made it difficult to use. If you're looking for a kit that is SHUTTS, I've seen a few others on Revain that might be worth trying. I've made chicken and pork hams with tools and they worked beautifully. My hands are bigger and I rub the metal part a little. But I get it with almost every instrument and all my life. With a slight change of grip I can work without any problems. For this item and price I can't complain and works as I expected.
